The Big TEAsy Caffeine Festival
The Big TEAsy Caffeine Festival is pleased to announce that The New Leviathan Oriental Foxtrot Orchestra will play in concert at the festival on October 22, 2017! The orchestra's 6pm performance will be the conclusion of a day-long festival both outside and inside the new Jefferson Performing Arts Center on Airline Drive in Metairie.
The Big TEAsy Festival celebrates our coffee & tea culture going back 300 years to the founding of New Orleans. The day begins with an outside festival starting at 11am and featuring sample tastings of coffees and teas from vendors across the metro area. There will also be lots of Dixieland jazz all afternoon, featuring the Tim Laughlin Trio as the outside headline act. At 4pm, High Tea will be served inside the theatre lobby - surrounded by 5 million dollars of artwork. Then, at 6pm, The New Leviathan will take the stage for a full concert of everyone's favorite foxtrots!
Advance tickets to the inside events (the "concert only" or a special "High Tea/concert combo") are available at tickets.ticketforce.com. For more information, please visit www.bigteasy.com. Outside festival tickets are available day of the festival, at the gate, starting at 11am.
